As I peek out from this land beneath that vast atmosphere above, I thought about your wonder, your greatness and your love.
This sky that you created for all to see, is indeed a majestic awe to me.
I see it as a demonstration, a thing to show us all:
That the skies... especially now, in the situation I am in - the night sky. Everyone has praised it, we have all gave wonder and thought to it; we have all stumbled over curiousity and walked through pathways of enlightenment by it, we had experienced hinted meanings behind the beauty, as the simple mortals chart their ways below these stars.
And then I realise a significance behind this. A significance that we can probaly never realise your majesty and power. For the stars, the stars, we humans had saw as only shimmering lights in the sky. We thought them to be beautiful and had associated curiousity to them, giving theories to the existance to them (consellations), we had turned analytical, wanting to exlpore what the sky had held and therefore rose aspirations to enter space.
And there we found a difference in what we had seen. It was not acutally only shimmering lights, it was more... but what more? Perhaps the human race can never reach those outer galaxies to find out what those stars were. What the spaceships had truly found; was nothing.
Emptiness --- Space.
Humans sometimes do not know what satisfaction really is.
God, I praise you for the skies. Let me learn to not be in want.
